Are you looking for a fun, challenging and rewarding position that can help prepare you for a future career in a special needs care field such as teaching, nursing, social work or psychology?

Each year, we hire Site Leaders, Assistant Site Leaders, Recreation Workers and Support Workers to work with children up to age 19 who have various special needs. Each site is arranged according to participant ages and abilities. Site Leaders and Assistant Site Leaders can expect to be on site from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, and Recreation Workers are on site from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Interested? Visit our activities page to see a sample of what you can look forward to over the six-week program. Please note: before applying, you should be comfortable with each activity, as it is important that each child participate and have help while doing so.

The Real Deal

As fun as it can be, it’s not glamorous. Our participants need your help every day for each of them to have a successful day, week and summer. It’s all about the kids, so we have a strict employment policy for dress code, work hours, participation, iPods and, yes, cell phones.
