Who We Are

Delta Life Skills Society is run by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Callum Lynch, Program Director.

Callum has been involved with Delta Life Skills Society since he was a teenager, initially as a Recreation Worker, and later working his way up to Assistant Leader and then Site Leader soon after. During his time as an employee, he has grown alongside many encouraging staff, appreciative parents and inspiring kids. These individuals have cultivated who he has become and helped bring to fruition his place within this field. Callum has been our Program Director since 2014 and brings a wealth of experience in special education. During the regular school year, Callum previously worked as an educational assistant. He is currently completing his final practicum to become a certified teacher with a special education designation.

Alison Howard, President.

Alison has served on the board since 2013 and started her tenure as President in 2016. Alison has two children, one of whom has special needs and has been participating in the Summer Fun Program since 2014. Alison first started volunteering with this program as a teenager, and also worked as a Recreation Worker for two summers. At that time, Alison never dreamed she would need to access the program for her future children, and she is very thankful to the foresight of the founders for creating such a wonderful summer camp experience for children with special needs, as well as the dedication and perseverance of all the volunteers who keep the program running. Alison is a designated accountant and is using her experience and skills to enhance and streamline the program in her term as President.
